Kennett Life of an Athlete members collected 579 food items and $964 at the White Out Against Hunger basketball games earlier this month. Food donations were accepted as admission to the games and gave away t-shirts to the first 30 students in the door.
The leadership team handed everything over to End 68 Hours of Hunger Conway Chapter and the Vaughan Community Center food pantry.
