We just love the creativity of kids! Jackson and Harper Bairstow of Dover, NH came up with a fundraiser for their community that was truly unique. They were able to raise $1700.00 for our program with ‘Flamingos for Food’!
They sold pink flamingo’s online and delivered them to their local residents. The instructions were to “Dress your flamingo up, name it, and post it on social media using the hashtag #flamingosforfood.” Getting creative with your fundraiser can inspire donors to give more than they might to a common approach. You can get potential donors’ attention through social media shares and other promotions that boost a fundraisers reach and success.
