Exeter

THIS is the face of
End of 68 Hours Exeter, that many of you donโ€™t know.
THIS WOMAN along with a friend recognized the need in the SAU16, and started what we all know as one of the best running volunteer organizations in the area that makes a direct impact each week.
Sue Abizaid, came, did and is now turning over the reigns to a new team.
As Sue and her friend Kimโ€™s children got older, they were looking to give back to their community.
Sue had been a kindergarten teacher and connected with the educational impact and knew the SAU16 would benefit from this program.
In the first week they packed and delivered six bags. This year the teams were packing and delivering up to 100 bags weekly.
Sue has attracted the most amazing volunteers since they began the program over 11 years ago in the SAU16.
Her kindness, selflessness and wonderful spirit naturally makes people want to help.
She has engaged food sponsors, grocery store partners, local supporters and more!
We are beyond thankful for her giving spirit and leadership.
We are so sad to see her go but so excited to see what is next for her.
THANK YOU SUE! ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ
