With the summer in full swing and COVID-19 still to be considered, End 68 has found creative ways to continue their program even though school is not in session. Fosters.com recently interviewed founder Claire Bloom about ways the charity is moving forward.
According to Claire “End 68 Hours of Hunger now has an online registration system parents can use to register their children to receive their bags of non-perishable food by pick up or delivery. Some school districts are delivering to homes with school busses, teachers and staff, but in some cases we cannot deliver to a child without a name and address. We are leaving it up to the parents to decide whether or not to register their children.”
