On August 6th as part of National Night Out, members of the Derry Firefighters Local 4392 waged war to find out which Battalion was the Top Fire Chef! Battalion 1 led by Firefighter Paramedic Matt Tropiano took home the title in the inaugural event.
The event raised $1275 which was donated to End 68 Hours of Hunger, an organization that helps fight childhood food insecurity.
The competition was sponsored by the Derry Fire Fighters Charitable Organization and BayState Financial.
