And the day just kept getting better, because the folks at Peterborough Fire & Rescue sure know how to run a food drive! Huge thanks to all the Shaw’s shoppers, plus folks who dropped off food at the Dublin Fire Department and the Peterborough Police Department. You gave us 177 bags of groceries—2,299 items in all, with an estimated value of $2,311, plus $496 in cash! As one man said when he dropped off his bag, “I’m going to eat tonight.
