Our Financial Policy!

People often ask how we manage funds that come in to the organization.

End 68 Hours of Hunger is a 100% volunteer organization.  We commit 100% of all donations to buy and provide food to American children.  We do this through local programs.

When we receive a donation that is designated to a specific program, 100% of that donation goes directly to that program.  It doesn’t matter whether it is received by my office or by the Program Coordinator directly.  When we receive a donation that is not designated to a specific program, then it remains in a separate account.  I control this account as the Executive Director, and I redirect the funds to where there is the most need.

Each month the Program Coordinators submit their receipts for an audit to ensure that all funds are spent in accordance with the program rules.

I report to the Federal Internal Revenue Service each year all income and expenses, and I also report this information to the State of New Hampshire Secretary of State’s Office.

We have no office, no paid staff, and in fact those of us who volunteer for the organization spend a considerable amount of our own money.  We fund our own postage, letters, business cards, envelopes, ink for our computers, brochures, banners, etc.

We DO have needs that we would love to have financial support for, and you hear about them from time to time.  If you would like to support these needs, please call me and let me know!  I will tell you how to help!  Thank you!
