The Tolland, CT chapter of End 68 Hours of Hunger conducted a survey to see how the families like the program and this was one of the responses: One parent said that during Christmas, her child took food from his weekend backpack and put individual items in the Christmas stockings of his family members – “So they wouldn’t be empty.”
